Discover the Escape Training Tank House, a quirky museum nestled between the Museum of Wrecks and the Vasa Museum containing odd gadgets and gizmos used throughout the history of diving.
Free admission. Open Saturdays on uneven weeks, 11.00–16.00 during June, July and August.
In Swedish: Did you know that shipwrecks aren’t just found underwater? Join the museum’s experts on a guided walk in central Stockholm and learn more about maritime archaeology, Stockholm’s maritime history and shipwrecks that have been found on dry land. What can we learn from such finds?
During the tour, we’ll make stops at wrecks in the Hästen neighbourhood, Samson, the Riddarholm wreck, the statue of Karl XIII and the old naval shipyard on Blaiseholmen.
In Swedish: Welcome on a guided walk focusing on Skeppsholmen’s storied military and naval history. Learn about the old naval shipyard, HMS af Chapman and other secrets held by this island in the middle of the capital.
During the tour, we’ll make stops at the Admiralty House, af Chapman, Scepter, Kastellholm wreck, the island’s citadel, a cargo crane and a torpedo workshop.

In Swedish: Join our guide on a walk around Stockholm and discover the hidden queer life of sailors. At various stops throughout the city, we’ll tell the stories of secret meetings, soldier prostitution and homoerotic sailors.
The city walk is free, but you must pre-book your spot due to limited availability. The walk starts at the mushroom-shaped meetup point at Stureplan. At the end of the tour, you can visit the museum or enjoy a drink on the outdoor terrace. No stairs will be used, so everyone is welcome including those with wheelchairs or walkers.

In Swedish: Learn something completely new, or deepen your knowledge of maritime archaeology and shipwrecks. Get a certificate for a virtual dive – without getting wet! Join the children’s tour and become a shipwreck detective on Resande Man, where children will also learn how an underwater archaeological survey is carried out. Limited availability, pre-booking required.
