Welcome to Vrak – Museum of Wrecks! Our museum is dedicated to the cultural heritage at the bottom of Baltic Sea. We leave the wrecks at the bottom of the sea where they are best preserved and tell their stories through film, virtual reality and holograms.
Here you'll find information for those who produce or plan a visit to Vrak.
About Vrak
Vrak is located at Djurgårdstrand 17, close to its sister museum: the Vasa Museum. In one hour, visitors have time to stroll through our exhibitions and experience the history of the Baltic Sea below the surface.
The vikings are coming
In the spring of 2025, the exhibition "Vikings before Vikings" will open at Vrak. The exhibition is produced by Saaremaa Museum in Estonia. Here, visitors encounter the traces of the Nordic warriors who died in present-day Estonia, about 1300 years ago. Visiting the exhibition is free of charge.
